IT SUPPORT
ServiceNow integration services
Keep support requests up to date across ServiceNow and your other apps. Useful when teams have to update the same request twice.
Avoid entering the same support update twice
Teams sometimes use ServiceNow alongside another support or project tool. A connection can share agreed request details so people do not have to re-enter each change manually.
We decide which system owns each field, how statuses should match, and what to do when both sides change a record. Available interfaces, permissions, and your ServiceNow configuration determine the final scope.
What the work can include
- Share request details between tools
- Match fields so information stays consistent
- Flag updates that need a person to resolve them
Decide which system owns each update
A two-way connection needs more than a list of fields to copy. We establish who owns the priority, assignee, status, and other agreed values, then define how a change in either system affects the other.
Notes and attachments need their own rules. An internal note should not become a customer-visible comment simply because both systems have a text field.
Example: share an incident with another support team
A ServiceNow incident can be linked to a record in the other team’s tool. The connection keeps the identifiers together and exchanges only the status, notes, or other fields included in the agreed design.
If an update fails, staff need to know which record is affected and whether the change can be retried. We review duplicate prevention and conflict handling using representative records before release.
Questions about this service
Can ServiceNow connect to BMC Remedy?
We can assess the required record types and available interfaces on both sides. Product configuration, access permissions, and any connector or subscription requirements must be checked before scope is agreed.
Can the connection work in both directions?
Where supported, yes. The design needs explicit ownership and conflict rules so two systems do not continually overwrite each other.
Do licences and connector access need checking?
Yes. We review the features and access available in your environment. Development scope does not automatically include third-party subscriptions or permissions.
